PRX-T33 | Skin Biorevitalisation & Rejuvenation

A unique approach to skin rejuvenation, combining the benefits of a chemical peel with minimal visible peeling or downtime.

PRX-T33 is an innovative skin biorevitalisation treatment designed to improve skin texture, firmness, fine lines and overall skin quality without the significant surface exfoliation traditionally associated with stronger chemical peels.

Suitable for the face, neck, décolletage and certain areas of the body, PRX-T33 offers a versatile approach to skin rejuvenation for those looking to improve their skin without extended downtime.

What is PRX-T33?

PRX-T33 is a patented skin treatment developed by WiQo, combining three key ingredients:

33% Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)
A well-established chemical peeling agent used to support skin renewal and improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture and pigmentation.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂)
Modulates the action of TCA, helping to reduce visible surface exfoliation while allowing the treatment to stimulate skin renewal.

Kojic Acid (5%)
An ingredient known for its pigment-regulating properties, helping to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and discolouration.

Unlike traditional medium-depth TCA peels, PRX-T33 is formulated to minimise visible peeling and prolonged recovery.

What can PRX-T33 treat?

PRX-T33 can be used to address several common skin concerns, including:

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Mild skin laxity and loss of firmness

  • Dull, tired-looking skin

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Uneven skin tone and superficial pigmentation

  • The appearance of certain scars

  • Stretch marks on the body

  • General skin rejuvenation and maintenance

It is particularly popular with clients looking to improve overall skin quality without undergoing more intensive resurfacing treatments.

How does PRX-T33 work?

PRX-T33 is applied using a specialised massage technique, allowing the solution to interact with the skin while minimising excessive surface exfoliation.

Its TCA-based formulation promotes skin renewal and supports processes involved in collagen production, helping to gradually improve skin texture and firmness.

The addition of hydrogen peroxide modifies the way the TCA interacts with the skin, reducing the visible peeling commonly associated with traditional TCA treatments.

The result is a treatment designed to improve skin quality with relatively little disruption to everyday activities.

What happens during treatment?

Your appointment begins with a skin assessment to ensure PRX-T33 is appropriate for your concerns and skin condition.

The solution is then applied in layers using a firm massage technique.

You may experience warmth, tingling or mild stinging during application, although treatment is generally well tolerated.

Once the solution has been removed, the skin is moisturised using the recommended post-treatment products.

Treatment time: Approximately 30 minutes
Downtime: Usually minimal
Recommended course: Typically 3–5 treatments, depending on your concerns

Is there any downtime?

One of the main advantages of PRX-T33 is that it generally causes considerably less visible peeling than conventional medium-depth TCA peels.

Most clients can return to normal daily activities shortly after treatment.

However, some temporary side effects are possible, including:

  • Redness

  • Tightness or dryness

  • Mild sensitivity

  • Occasional flaking or peeling

Although PRX-T33 is often described as a no-peel treatment, this does not mean peeling can never occur.

Daily SPF and appropriate post-treatment skincare are important while the skin recovers.

How many treatments will I need?

Some clients notice an immediate improvement in skin hydration, smoothness and radiance following their first appointment.

However, improvements in skin texture, fine lines and firmness generally develop more gradually.

For longer-term concerns, a course of approximately 3–5 treatments may be recommended, often spaced 7–14 days apart.

The number of sessions will depend on your skin condition, treatment goals and response.

Maintenance treatments can also be incorporated into a longer-term skin health plan.

PRX-T33 vs traditional chemical peels

Traditional chemical peels primarily work by encouraging controlled exfoliation of the skin, although their effects vary considerably depending on the ingredients, concentration and depth of treatment.

PRX-T33 takes a different approach.

Its formulation is designed to promote skin renewal and biorevitalisation while limiting the visible peeling typically associated with higher-strength TCA treatments.

This makes it an option for clients who want to improve skin quality but cannot accommodate significant downtime.

However, PRX-T33 is not necessarily a replacement for conventional chemical peels, microneedling or laser resurfacing. Each treatment has different strengths, and the most appropriate option depends on the concern being treated.

Is PRX-T33 suitable for everyone?

PRX-T33 can be suitable for a range of skin types, but it is not appropriate for every client.

Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided if you have active skin irritation, a compromised skin barrier, certain inflammatory skin conditions or other contraindications.

A consultation is always carried out beforehand to assess suitability.
